Terms of Use
Last updated 10 August 2026
Welcome to louisearnold.au (the “Site”), operated by Louise Arnold (“I”, “me”, “my”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Using the Site
You may browse recipes, download free ebooks you have signed up for, leave reviews where enabled, and contact me through the Site for personal, non-commercial use — unless we agree otherwise in writing.
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any unlawful way, or to harm others
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or misuse the Site or its systems
- Copy, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without permission
- Submit reviews or messages that are abusive, misleading, or infringe someone else’s rights
Recipes and content
Recipes, photos, text, and other content on the Site are provided for general information and home cooking inspiration. Results can vary. Always use your own judgement around allergens, food safety, equipment, and dietary needs. If you have health concerns, seek advice from a qualified professional.
Content is owned by me or used with permission. You may cook from recipes at home and share a link to the Site. You may not republish full recipes, ebooks, or substantial copies of content without prior written consent, except for brief fair-dealing quotations with clear credit and a link back.
Free ebooks and emails
Free ebooks are offered for your personal use. Signing up may also subscribe you to my email list, as described at signup and in the Privacy Policy. Ebooks remain my intellectual property; please do not redistribute the PDF files.
Reviews
If you submit a recipe review, you grant me a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit, and display that review on the Site and in related promotion. Reviews may be moderated and are not guaranteed to be published.
Third-party services and links
The Site may use third-party services (for example email, forms, hosting, and analytics) and may link to external sites such as Instagram. Those services and sites have their own terms and privacy practices. I am not responsible for their content or conduct.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law (including the Australian Consumer Law), I exclude warranties about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you cannot contract out of under Australian Consumer Law.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss arising from your use of recipes, ebooks, or the Site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant services or the cost of resupplying them, at my option.
Changes
I may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when I do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in Australia will have jurisdiction over disputes, without limiting any non-excludable consumer protections that apply where you live.
