My Story

After graduating from Albury High School, I pursued an Arts Degree in Theatre and Television at CSU Wagga. This academic journey ignited my creative spark, which I further explored in our family business, Arnold's, where I had been working since I was 14 years old.

Since 1996, I've had the privilege of connecting with our local community through radio and television. My catch cry, "Hi! It's Louise!" became a beloved greeting, creating a bond with my audience that I cherish deeply. What started as casual conversations about my family life and recipes quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Despite my initial lack of cooking skills when I left home, I found joy in sharing weekly dishes on radio and more recently on my social media channels through "Louise's Kitchen." Follow me on Instagram to keep up to date with my daily menus and home life.

In addition to my culinary adventures, I perform daily as a voice-over artist from my home studio. This side hustle allows me to work with businesses across Australia, and I've had the honour of fronting national television campaigns for Spotlight and Bunnings. Last year, I even had the chance to feature on Channel 7's Morning Show with Larry and Kylie.

On a personal note, I've been married to Craige (also known as Hubby Cooks) for 28 years, and my husband and two adult children, Claudia and Tom, continue to be my greatest support and inspiration.
